Addiction towards Video Games: Criteria A
Over the past decade or so, video gaming has come a long way. It provides entertainment for people of all ages, including the elderly. But when people “Over-Play” these video games, that’s when problems occur.
The video games produced now days are very realistic that it makes the player feel he is what he’s controlling. The entertainment within the game has such an impact on players that they get psyched-up for playing the games, and it’s very hard to live without them. The addiction video games have on the players is so vast, that the AMA (American Medical Association) calls it “a diagnosable psychiatric disorder.” (Griffith, 2007). The addiction of video games often reaches a point where the individual neglects important things in life such as; doing chores, homework, or practicing physical hobbies.
A video console is a software with a fast graphic processor displayed on a monitor and controlled with a joystick that allows people to play various things, from real-life to fantasy jobs.
Like anything else, video games also have some advantages in conjunction with the disadvantages. It is a very big industry. Some U.S. 7.4 billion have been recorded in 2006 by the ESA (Entertainment Software Association) (Griffith, 2007). In the long run, the industry will affect the country economically i.e. tax. It also offers people entertainment which many seem to enjoy. But the disadvantages are always there. Being addicted to a game is a problem if that individual is paying more attention to the games than other important things. For example a student playing video games and neglecting homework.

You need to clean up some of your grammar and add analysis at the end, but good in general.
